South Korea is SelfAcademy’s core destination. We help students from Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia get into Korean language programs and universities, win scholarships and obtain student visas.

We work with admissions to Sejong, Dankook, Woosong, Chungbuk, Jeonbuk, Keimyung and other universities — matching the program to your language level, grades and budget.

What we do

  • University and program selection
  • Admission to university language institutes
  • Motivation letters and study plans
  • Document preparation: translations, apostille, finances
  • Scholarships: GKS and TOPIK-based tuition discounts
  • D-4 / D-2 student visa and pre-departure preparation

Study programs

Language courses (D-4). Ideal for beginners. Courses run by semester at university language institutes; afterwards you can enter a bachelor’s program at the same university.

Bachelor’s. 4 years. Taught in Korean (usually TOPIK 3 or higher) or in English for some majors.

Master’s. 2 years. Many English-taught programs, especially in engineering, IT and business.

Scholarships and discounts

Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) is a government scholarship covering tuition, living costs and airfare. Competition is strong, so documents are prepared well in advance.

Many universities also offer tuition discounts based on TOPIK level and grades. We will tell you what you can apply for.

Working while studying

International students may legally work a limited number of hours per week once they receive permission. It helps with living costs but does not replace financial preparation for the move.

Ideally 6–9 months before the semester. Applications for the March intake usually close in autumn, for September — in spring.

How much does it cost to study in Korea?

It depends on the university, city and program. We will find options within your budget and explain available discounts.
